• 85’, 3-piece, Boom
• Main Boom section has a unique, modular separating quick coupling design, for easy on and off for transport.
• Stick end downsized to a Cat 330 size, DB series linkage.
• In the manufacture of this boom, automated machine welded joints were performed where accessible. The quality of this package is second to none.
• Strenx Brand 700F extreme duty structural steel, and Q690D Grade Steel were spec’d for this boom construction. This is 100,076 PSI structural steel. This steel is 30-50% higher priced than the Q345B grade 70,000 PSI steel that is used in most of these Long and High Reach booms in the industry.
• High OEM Quality steel hydraulic plumping lines, with extra heavy clamps used throughout boom.
• Highest quality dimpled brass bushings used throughout the boom joints.
• Steel grease line plumbing to all joints.
• Boom weight – 22,000 Pounds.
• Boom rated for 5,500 pound work tool.
Auxiliary Counterweight information:
• 12,000 pound auxiliary center section counterweight added to be added to machine.
• Carefully designed to maintain the existing body lines. Easy on / off if needed.
• Rear counterweight removes same as factory intended.
• We have a hydraulic tilt cab platform in stock as well for additional money, if interested in using that with this demo boom set.
