Career position! Now hiring a full time, all-around welder / fabricator.
Perform the following tasks on heavy construction equipment and attachments:
- Working inside of our shop in Bellevue, Iowa. You may work inside or outside in the summer to your desired level. 8-5 work day Monday through Friday.
- Repair welding on machinery as needed.
- Fabricating as necessary.
- Learn to weld up and line bore worn joints and knuckles on construction equipment.
- Refacing blades.
- Gouge cracks and fix as needed.
- Heavy torching and lancing as needed.
- Grinding.
- Fabricate panels and non-complex parts as needed.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in MIG welding, torching, and fabrication.
- Willingness to perform a wide variety of projects as needed.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Organization skills.
- Focus on quality workmanship and correct repair procedures.
- A positive and willing attitude.
- Ability to take direction and orders as needed is necessary.
- Position is expected to maintain all consumables as needed in stock and be willing to maintain a clean, organized, safe and efficient work area at all times.
