This is an OEM Quality, MassX Brand, Complete 65’ long reach boom package to fit Cat 345 excavators. This exact design sold and proven in severe conditions with some of the leading contractors, dealers, and mining companies in the world.
These packages are specifically manufactured with Higher Strength, 690 MPA, 100,000 PSI Structural Steel on all 4 sides of boom and stick which is significantly stronger and higher quality than the industry standard of 70,000 PSI steel used by most all other manufacturers. Furthermore, the high-end steel we use is temperature impact rated certified at negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit which is unheard of in the Long Reach industry as other manufactures lose significant strength at lower temperatures leading to increased failure rates.

Each Boom Package includes the following. Exactly as pictured.
- 36’1” Boom, with attached Stick cylinder. Weight 9,700 pounds.
- 29’6’ Stick, with attached bucket linkage and Bucket Cylinder, Weight 4,960 pounds.
- 1.5 Yard Bucket. Weight 2,425 pounds.
- Bucket Linkage is Cat 325 CB style linkage, for easy bucket interchange as needed.
- 6,600 pound Counterweight attachment.
- Built with 690 MPA, 100,000 PSI Structural Steel on all 4 sides of boom and stick.
- Certified Steel Impact Strength Rating to negative 40 Degrees.
- All pins 40 CrMo heat treated to 55 Rockwell hardness.
- All OEM Caterpillar/USA Style fittings and High Pressure Hydraulic Hoses.
- All products painted with Dupont OEM quality polyurethane paint.
- This package is designed to re-use the machines original Boom Lift cylinders as these are not included in package.
- Total package weight is 26,000 pounds.
- Please note, when comparing long reach boom packages on the market, don’t make a mistake to compare on pricing alone, remember that most imported long reach boom packages that you see at auctions and wholesalers, are made with cheap, low strength steel, and do not include the extra hydraulic cylinders and heavier counterweight and or don’t have parts in stock and available after the sale. There is a huge difference in quality and safety in these boom kits.
